Steve Green lives in Knoxville, TN with his lovely wife Christine.
Steve began racing in 1991, then made 1st top three finishes in 1992.
1993- 3 Regional sprint podiums finishes.
1994- 7 Regional sprint podiums, 2 National sprint podiums including 2 wins.
1995- 1st year Expert 2 Regional sprint podiums, 2 National Endurance podiums.
1996- Middle weight SuperSport National Endurance podium.
Steve took a break from racing and did not return until 2003. He came back as a novice due to length of time away from track.
2003- 6 regional sprint podiums, 4 National sprint podiums ,1 win. 2003 Formula 1 novice Southeastern Region Championship. Also raced with Deals Gap Racing in Lightweight SuperBike in the National Endurance Series; 6 podiums with 1 win, and the 2003 Lightweight SuperBike class championship.
2004- Became Expert again- 6 National Endurance podiums, 2 Regional sprint podiums.
2005- 5 National Endurance podiums, 2 National sprint podiums.
Steve has competed on the following bikes:
1991,92 Honda CBR F2, 93 Honda CBR 900RR, 94 Yamaha Seca II, (2) 95 Honda CBR F3, 96 Yamaha YZF 600, 98 Honda CBR F3, 2000 Yamaha R6, 02,03,04 and 05 Suzuki SV 650`s, 03 Yamaha R6.
In 2006, Steve plans to compete in Regional and National Sprint classes and the National Endurance Series with Team Zyvax Racing.
