Scott Layman has a long history of Racing.
Offshore Racing since 1989, Scott has two World Championships under his belt, and has Coordinated Racing Circuits in Middle East, Japan and Malaysia. For many years, Scott was the Number One Sales Representative for Cigarette Racing North America, and traveled extensively throughout Europe and the Far East, cultivating Corporate Accounts.
Tunnel Boat Racing earned his interest in 1999, and he raced competitively for two years.
Motorcycles have been a passion since his first Harley in the 90’s and he began racing in 2004, after taking the Kevin Schwantz Suzuki Course at Road Atlanta. Scott is 2nd or 3rd place for many National and Regional Championships this year in 2005. There will be more from Scott next year, since racing and succeeding is in the Layman blood.
Scott lives in the beautiful mountains of North Georgia, with his wife Jane, and two children Reece and Tanya. Reece is a Presidential Scholar at the University of Georgia and Tanya will be heading to University in the fall. The children enjoyed growing up in the Cayman Islands (Caribbean), where they were exposed to many cultures and nationalities from around the world. North Georgia is home for now, and the entire family is enjoying the hospitality and fellowship of the area.
